The revised rule cuts the review window from eighteen months to nine. It does not shorten the studies that feed the review. Any developer who has not begun bird and bat surveys before the filing date will spend those nine months waiting on fieldwork that used to run in parallel, and will finish no earlier than under the old rule.

Two consequences follow. Sites with survey data already in hand file first and take the grid capacity available in the north; everyone else negotiates for what is left, at prices set by the people who moved early. The advantage is not permanent, but it holds through the 2027 connection round.

The recommendation is unchanged. File early, and treat the survey calendar rather than the permit calendar as the binding constraint.

What the ten dollars is actually for.

One subscription. One card. One place to sign in. Behind it: seven houses, around thirty-five models, and as many jumps between them as the work needs — mid-draft, mid-paragraph, inside the same document.

The alternative is an account with each house you want to reach, a card on file at every one of them, and the same paragraph pasted into a different tab seven times.

We are not going to quote you what those cost. We haven’t verified a single one of their prices, and this page carries no number we can’t show you the arithmetic for. You already pay some of them. Add it up yourself.

Your document is yours
What you write here belongs to you. The text of a turn goes to the provider you picked for that turn and to no other; change the model and the next turn goes to the next provider. Nothing is sent to a house you did not choose.
What we can’t promise yet
Every provider sets its own terms for text sent through its API, and ours are not signed. So we are not going to write you a sentence about training or retention that no contract backs. The terms, provider by provider, will be published on this site before launch.
Only prices
The one kind of number on this page. Each one comes from the published rate of the provider that serves the model, through the same formula for all of them. No model is marked up more than the rest.

Ten dollars a month. A hundred credits. This is what they buy.

A turn is one question and the answer to it. What it costs depends on the model you asked and on nothing else — not on the plan, not on the month, not on how much you have already used. And the price is shown before the turn is sent, not after it is billed.

The last row is the most expensive reasoning model on the market, and you pay it only on the turns where you choose it. The first row is the same hundred credits spent on the lightest model in the catalogue: two and a half thousand turns. Most work sits between the two, and you are the one who decides where.
