Terms of service
Last revised 20 September 2026.
This is the agreement between you and whoever operates SwitchMyAI. It is written to be read in one sitting, without a lawyer next to you. There is no fine print somewhere else: what binds you is what is here.

Who provides this service
SwitchMyAI is operated by the person or entity whose details appear above. It is the same one that operates Iurexia, and payments run through its Mexican Stripe account.
Creating an account means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not create one: there is no reduced version of the service that works without them.
What SwitchMyAI is, and what it is not
The service does three things. It sends your text to whichever artificial intelligence model you pick, out of several houses, switching between them with one button. It brings the answer back into a word processor built into the page itself. And it exports whatever you write to Word (.docx) or to PDF.
What it is not: a source of truth. Models get things wrong, invent citations, and contradict in one paragraph what they said in the last one. What comes out of here is a draft. Check it before you use it, and check it twice if it is legal, medical, tax or financial text. We give no advice on any of those, and neither does the model that answers you.
It is not unlimited either. The word “unlimited” appears in no plan here, because it would not be true: what you buy is credits, and credits run out.
Your account
You sign in with Google, with Apple, with a code sent to your email or, if you create one, with a password. The password is optional and we never see it: our account provider (Supabase) keeps only an encrypted fingerprint of it, not the password itself, and if you forget it the email code still works.
An account belongs to one person, and whoever opened it answers for what is done from it. Lend out your email and you lend out your balance.
Keep the email current. It is how we tell you about a payment that failed, a credit about to expire, and a change to these terms.
If you think someone else got into your account, write to us and we will stop it. There is a standing rate limit that keeps a stolen session from burning the whole balance at once, but a limit caps the damage; it does not prevent it.
Minimum age
You have to be eighteen. The service is a contract and it is paid by card, and both of those require legal age.
It is not built for minors and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we find out an account belongs to a minor, we close it and refund whatever has not been used.
Credits: what they are and what they are not
A credit is the unit that measures your use of the service. Credits are bought with a monthly plan — which credits the balance at the start of each cycle — or in one-off top-ups. For the same amount, a monthly plan gives more credits than a one-off payment, and the larger top-ups add bonus credits. The amounts and what each one buys are on the pricing page and on the payment screen, which is the one that charges.
Each turn — one question and its answer — costs credits according to the model you picked and how long the answer runs. The price is shown before the turn is sent, not after it is billed.
What a credit is not:
- It is not money and it is not a deposit. It cannot be exchanged for cash.
- It cannot be transferred, sold or given to another account.
- It cannot pay for anything that is not this service.
- It earns no interest and no return of any kind.
When credits expire
Credits you pay for once do not expire while the account is open. Neither do the free ones.
Credits from the monthly plan do, if you take it: they expire when the month closes, and the whole monthly allowance lands again when the next one opens. They do not pile up month after month: that would be a bank of hours, and this is not one.
There are seventy-two hours of grace when a cycle opens. Renewal lands whenever billing decides, and nobody should lose credits at three in the morning.
If you are on the monthly plan and the payment stops going through, credits you bought separately are frozen for twelve months, and they come back intact if you reactivate within that window. We warn you sixty days before, and again in the final week.
Spending order never changes: whatever expires first is spent first.
Switching plans
You switch from your own account, on the credits screen, without writing to us. Before any switch you are told what is charged and when, and nothing applies until you confirm.
Moving up to a higher-priced plan takes effect immediately: the full price of the new plan is charged today, a new cycle starts today, and its credits are added. The rest of the previous cycle is not prorated or refunded in money; in exchange, the credits left from that cycle are not lost and stay available until the date they were due to expire.
Moving down to a lower-priced plan charges nothing at the time: you keep your current plan and its credits until the end of the paid cycle, and from renewal the new plan is charged and its credits land. Until that date you can undo the switch at no cost.
If your bank asks you to confirm the charge for a move up, the switch does not apply until you confirm it. If you do not, the switch is discarded and your plan stays as it was.
With a pending payment, or with the plan already cancelled, you cannot switch: first settle the payment or reactivate the plan from the billing portal.
The two ways to pay, and tax
The first ties you to nothing: pay once. You pick a top-up, you pay, the credits land, and there they stay. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel. No fee for buying.
The second is a monthly plan that lands credits at the start of every cycle, and for the same amount it gives more credits than the one-off top-up of that same amount. It is optional: the service works in full without it, and anyone who does not want it will never see it charged.
Any account can buy any top-up on the ladder, the smallest one included.
Prices are set in US dollars. If you pay from a country whose currency Stripe supports — in Mexico, the peso — the payment screen may show and charge the amount in that currency at Stripe’s rate of the day, which includes its conversion fee. What you see on that screen before you confirm is what is charged. Renewals and plan switches are then charged in that same currency, straight to the card and without that screen, at the rate of the day they are charged.
If your country charges tax on the service, it is added to the price and shown on the payment screen before you confirm.
We bill through Stripe. Your card number never passes through our servers and we do not store it: Stripe does.
If a monthly payment fails, Stripe retries it over a few days and you keep signing in meanwhile. If it never goes through, access is suspended: the plan is kept, credits bought separately are frozen, and everything comes back once the payment clears.
The free credits
Opening an account lands a balance of free credits. They cost nothing, ask for no card, and start no subscription. The exact figure is on the front page and in your account, taken from the same table that grants them.
They land when you VERIFY your email, not when you create the account. That is the difference between giving inference to a person and giving it to a script with disposable addresses, and it is why the credits appear when you first sign in and not a second earlier.
One per account and per person. Opening several accounts to chain the gift together is grounds for closing them.
They do not expire. If you never come back, nothing is charged, because there is nothing to charge.
How you cancel
From the billing portal inside your own account. One button. Nothing to ask us for, no call, no explanation of why you are leaving.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. Until that date you sign in as normal and spend whatever credits are left.
And if you never took the monthly plan, there is nothing to cancel: the credits you paid for once stay exactly where they were.
There is no minimum term and no penalty. There never has been.
Refunds
Short version: unused credits are not refunded in money, and anything we charged by mistake is refunded in full.
The detail — the one-off payments, the monthly charge, chargebacks and the deadlines — is in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
This is what you cannot do with the service. If it happens, we may suspend the account or close it; and where closing it is our own decision and no abuse was involved, we refund the part of the month you have not used.
- Nothing illegal, and nothing that prepares something illegal.
- Nothing that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not upload text you have no right to have rewritten, translated or summarised.
- No child sexual abuse material, no harassment, no threats, and no impersonating a real person.
- Do not put other people’s personal data in without a basis for processing it, and no sensitive data — health, beliefs, biometrics, criminal record — at least until we publish each provider’s terms.
- Do not resell the service, hide it behind your own interface, or automate it to serve third parties.
- Do not try to get around credit limits, the rate limit, or the count of the free credits. The rate limit exists so a stolen session cannot empty your balance; turning it off is not a feature, it is a bug.
- Do not probe or load the service beyond what ordinary use involves.
- And bear in mind that every provider also has its own usage policy, which binds you too: text their policy rejects gets rejected, even where it would be acceptable here.
What you write is yours
The text you write and the text the models give back are yours. We claim no ownership of them, we do not use them to promote the service, and we do not show them to anybody.
You give us only the technical permission the service needs to work: to store your document so you can keep editing it, to send the text of a turn to the provider you picked for that turn, to hand you the answer, and to build the file when you export. Nothing more, and nothing outside that.
That permission ends when you delete the document or close the account.
On the rights to what a model gives back, we can promise you nothing: intellectual property in machine-generated text is unsettled in Mexico and almost everywhere else. We cannot guarantee it is protectable, that it is original, or that it does not resemble what another user got for a similar question. That is not up to us.
The model providers
To answer a turn we send your text to the house that makes the model you picked, and only to that one. Change the model and the next turn goes to the next provider.
Every provider has its own terms and its own usage policy, and they apply to that text on top of these. We do not write them and we cannot change them.
What we still cannot promise you about training and data retention is stated, in the same words, on the front page and in the privacy notice: our terms with the providers are not signed, and the terms, provider by provider, will be published on this site before launch.
The catalogue moves: models are retired and new ones land, and the credit price of a turn follows whatever the provider charges for it. If a model disappears, your credits do not disappear with it.
The service is provided as it is
We do what we can to keep it up, but we do not promise it will not go down, that a provider will not go down, or that any particular answer will be of use to you.
What we do guarantee is the arithmetic. If a turn fails before the first token, nothing is charged. If the answer is cut off midway, you are charged what the provider billed and the rest goes back to your balance. If you press Stop, you are charged for what you received. And if the failure is ours, the adjustment is full and you do not have to ask for it.
Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect damages; and our total liability does not exceed what you have paid us in the twelve months before whatever caused it.
Whatever Mexican law does not allow to be excluded is not excluded. Nothing in this clause limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and nothing cuts down the rights consumer law gives you.
Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change the service, the model catalogue, and what a turn costs in credits, because all three follow what the providers do.
If the monthly price or the number of credits it includes changes, we give at least thirty days’ notice by email and the change applies from the following cycle. A one-off payment already made is untouched by a later price change: the credits you bought are the credits you bought.
These terms can change too. The date of the last revision is at the top, and the version in force is always the one published on this page. If the change is substantive, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
If you do not accept a change, the way out is to cancel; and the month you already paid for is still yours.
Governing law and where to complain
Mexican law applies.
Before anything else, write to us: almost everything gets settled by email, in a day, at no cost to anyone.
If you are a consumer, you keep the right to go to the Mexican consumer protection agency (PROFECO) and to the courts where you live. Nothing in these terms asks you to give that up.
For everything else, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico.
Is anything on this page unclear? Write to us and we will explain it. A document you have to decode is badly written, not badly read.
